Climabar
Climabar is a climate communication platform created by Carmen Huidobro and Belén Hinojar, which has gained significant popularity on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok thanks to its fresh, ironic, and relatable approach to discussing climate change. Their impact has been such that Forbes Spain included them in its prestigious “30 Under 30” list in 2024, recognizing them as two of the country’s most influential young voices in environmental matters. That same year, they also won the Ídolo Award in the Sustainability category. Climabar is a communication project that breaks down the climate crisis to burst the green bubble and explain this complex issue the same way you would to your friends at a bar. They mix data, current events, trends, storytelling, and whatever else they can think of to raise awareness, without losing their sense of humor. They had their own segment On Fire on El Intermedio (La Sexta), and they currently host Greenflags, Greenpeace’s podcast.
